COREY MANNING
Comedian By Night.
A
native of Durham, North Carolina, Corey Manning quickly found himself a home in the comedy scene delivering sidesplitting,
high-energy entertainment. Highly imaginative and extraordinary, Corey immediately grabs the audience's attention and
keeps them laughing with his distinctive style. Corey was a semi-finalist and regularly hosts Boston Comedy Jams for the Boston
Comedy Festival, and is the first comedian to be Certified as an Artist by the City of Boston. He has also hosted celebrity
fundraisers featuring NFL & NBA players, National Recording Artists, and Actors. Corey was recently featured in Jamie
Foxx’s LAFFAPALOOZA! 2006 New Faces of Comedy, was a contestant in the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition and Festival,
and had a very successful début of his one-man play of Confessions of a… Blackman.
Prior to his
comedy work in Boston, Corey graduated from North Carolina Central University, with a major in Theatre. He has performed in
numerous plays but his favorite, most prestigious, and continuing role is that of a father to his son, Corey Jr.
You can now catch Corey on the morning show on Boston’s Choice 102.9FM, co-hosting hosting BIG FUNNY SUNDAY in Dorchester,
